We help our clients capitalize on the power of a good film. So naturally, we model our method after the method the best filmmakers in the world. It’s an organic, 4-phase process, bringing simplicity and craft to an otherwise complicated mess.
#1: Development
We seek to understand everything we possibly can about our client: their history (good and bad), their present realities, their vision for the future, and how a quality film could help them realize it. Every client’s needs will drive the creative process to its own unique destination, including the right genre, format, and approach. We listen, brainstorm, research, write, and re-write until we know that we are unveiling the story which is begging to be told.
#2: Pre-Production
There are 2 key factors to planning a successful shoot: gathering a top-quality crew and managing the details beforehand. We lead a team of highly-skilled professionals who understand the importance of professionalism and outside-the-box creativity. We plan, re-plan, then plan some more so that on the day, we know we have given ourselves every possible chance to let creativity flow while staying within the boundaries drawn out beforehand.
#3: Production
The raw pieces of the creative vision are captured on film (usually digital) with a deliberate balance of efficiency and creativity. Efficiency is important, but story remains king. We cultivate a highly collaborative environment so that each team member’s unique strengths can be put to good use while making sure that the ship continues to move forward. Proper planning gives us the ability to adhere to pre-determined schedules, but we remain open and flexible when life happens and plans must change.
#4: Post-Production
The film was written first on paper, then it was re-written on-camera. It’s now time to re-write the film once more, this time on-screen. Our editor(s) thoroughly explore many paths in search of the one which lead us to the best possible edit. We return to one last phase of collaboration with the client to evaluate, revise, polish, and finish. The result? A film which entertains, educates, and ultimately achieves the client’s original objectives. A film which MOVES YOUR AUDIENCE.
